36 years at Shell across Nigeria, Malaysia and The Netherlands, where he successfully led high profile and ground breaking projects such as the EA (Sea Eagle Shallow Offshore) project; renovation of the Shell Nigeria fleet of Offshore rigs in Louisiana (USA); as well as pioneering High Pressure and Temperature (HP/HT) drilling and subsurface oil and gas operations. He later became the Country drilling Manager for AFREN oil and gas drilling Company and thereafter an adviser for Citizens and Advice Bureau in the United Kingdom.

Godwin Ibe

An expert in corrosion, pipelines, asset integrity and engineering management, Godwin has 47+ years’ experience in oil and gas with SEDCo (a subsidiary of Transocean), Shell Nigeria, Nederland Aaardolie Maatscapij (NAM), and Seplat. At Shell, he honed his expertise in materials selection and integrity management, while his leadership at Seplat as Asset Integrity Manager helped drive operational reliability and safety performance. His career reflects a commitment to excellence in engineering, regulatory compliance, and the sustainable management of energy assets. Engr. Ibe served as one of the two Nigerian members of The international Corrosion Council -ICC (for twelve years). The ICC has two members each from over 120 countries. He is a dedicated marriage counsellor and has passion for developing young technical professionals. Engr. Ibe speaks over 20 local & international languages.

Geoscientist with over 40 years’ local and international experience, mostly with Royal Dutch Shell in Nigeria and the Netherlands. A Fellow of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), he is the Chairman of Belemaoil Producing Limited and an External Facilitator at the University of Lagos Business School. He holds a BSc in Applied Physics from the University of Benin, and postgraduate degrees in Business Administration and Management from the University of Lagos. He has been recognised for advancing geoscience education in Nigeria.

Dozie Obele

Dozie Obele
A lawyer with 38 years experience. He is renowned for helping clients manage regulatory risk. He has expertise in oil and gas, power, and mining. Dozie has served in Nigeria’s Presidency (2009 – 2013) where he advised on power sector reforms, infrastructure, and social safety net programs with Presidential Task Force on Power (PTFP) and Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Program Committee (SURE-P). He holds a law degree (LLB) from University of Lagos, BL (Nigerian Law School), and LLM (Georgetown University, Washington DC). He has been admitted to New York Bar.

Nick Agule
Nick Agule is a seasoned Chartered Accountant, SAP-certified IT consultant, and transformational leader with over 30 years of experience spanning academia, global oil and gas supermajors, management consulting, and community development. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), he holds an MBA and BSc in Accounting from the University of Benin, and a BA in Theology from St Mary’s University, London.

Nick began his career teaching financial and management accounting at his alma mater – the University of Benin – before joining Chevron and later Shell, serving both in Nigerian operations for a decade before advancing to BP’s global headquarters in London. His strategic insight earned him roles on Shell’s SAP implementation teams in Kuala Lumpur and Houston, and at BP, he helped build the global SAP global template for downstream and later upstream operations while leading audits across five continents.

In 2015, he founded Dominus Consulting Ltd, a London and Abuja-based firm specialising in transformation and process fitness. In 2016, he was headhunted to join the Asset Management Team for the OML 42 NNPC/Neconde JV, reviving dormant oil fields. He later became CFO of White Dove Shipping, pioneering a marine-based crude evacuation strategy now widely adopted across the Niger Delta.

Beyond industry, Nick is a Permanent Deacon in the Archdiocese of Westminster and a passionate advocate for social impact. He chairs The Word in Action Foundation, founded the Nick Agule Foundation, and leads initiatives like Citizens Charity and Victoria Bus Company Ltd.

His contributions have earned him awards from Prime Minister David Cameron, First Minister Alex Salmond, BP, Shell, and the Archbishop of Westminster. A sought-after analyst on energy and economic affairs, Nick mentors emerging leaders, speaks at global conferences, and champions integrity, innovation, and inclusive development across sectors.

Seasoned lawyer and HR/corporate services executive with 40 years’ cross sector leadership experience, including senior roles at Shell Nigeria, South Atlantic Petroleum (SAPETRO), Alpha Mead Group, and Cranfield Talent Consultants. He is the Vice Chairman of the Society for Human Resource Management (Nigeria Member Group) and a Fellow of the Mentoring and Career Development Institute of Nigeria, demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence and standards and developing younger professionals.

Engr. Francis Ogugua Oguamanam, FNSE, CEng

Francis Oguamanam

Engr. Francis Ogugua Oguamanam is a distinguished civil engineer whose career spans over five decades of exemplary service in both the public and private sectors. A Chartered Civil Engineer with the UK Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE, CEng), he is also a Member of the UK Institution of Highways & Transportation Engineers and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE).

His professional journey began in the mid-1970s with leading engineering consulting firms, including the globally renowned Ove Arup and Partners, where he specialized in the design and supervision of highways, bridges, roads, and other critical infrastructure projects. His technical expertise and commitment to excellence quickly earned him recognition as a leader in the field.

In 1985, Engr. Oguamanam joined the Lagos State Government, New Towns Development Authority where he played a pivotal role in the development of the Lekki Peninsula Scheme 1, overseeing hydraulic sand filling and the design and supervision of road and drainage networks. He was subsequently posted to head the New Towns Development Authority Zonal Ofice at Ikeja, where he led the design and supervision of construction of estate roads and infrastructure in Ikeja, including the Central Business District, Magodo, and Omole Estates.

In 1993, he was redeployed to the Lagos State Ministry of Works, where he oversaw the planning and design of major road projects across the state. He rose to the position of Director, a role he held until his retirement in 2001, after which he established his own engineering consultancy, continuing to contribute to infrastructure development and professional mentorship.

Beyond engineering, Engr. Oguamanam is deeply committed to community service, religious engagement, and humanitarian causes. He is a Past President of the Rotary Club, a Patron of the Catholic Men Organisation in both the Archdiocese of Lagos and Owerri, and an active supporter of numerous civic initiatives.

He also served as Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Ikeja Branch, where his legacy is celebrated through the annual Francis Oguamanam Innovation & Creative Fair (FOIF)—a platform dedicated to fostering innovation and creativity among young engineers.

Engr. Oguamanam has received numerous awards and honours from professional bodies, community organizations, and religious institutions in recognition of his outstanding contributions to engineering and society. His legacy is defined by technical excellence, visionary leadership, and a lifelong dedication to mentoring future generations of engineers and giving back to the society.

Prof. (Mrs) Aduabobo I. Hart

A renowned environmental scientist and academic with over four decades of expertise in Hydrobiology and Fisheries. She has served as a consultant to the Federal Ministry of Environment for more than 25 years, contributing to national Environmental Impact Assessment reviews and leading initiatives such as the World Bank-supported Standards Enhancement Project (SPEESE). She is a Fellow of the Fisheries Society of Nigeria and holds the prestigious Charles Bruce Powell Chair in Hydrobiology/Fisheries. A former Director of the Institute of Natural Resources, Environment and Sustainable Development (INRES) at the University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Hart also sits on the board of CSDevNet, a leading climate-focused NGO. Her innovations include patented technologies for water remediation and plastic-to-fuel conversion, and she is honored in the Faculty of Science Hall of Fame.

Engr. Dominic Ebere

Dominic Ebere
35+ years at Shell and Elf in HSE, development planning, subsea facilities engineering, and production operations; led Deepwater projects in Nigeria and the US and achieved “best-inclass” audit outcome (Shell Group Line of Defence 3) on the operations of subsea and pipeline asset in the Deepwater environment; Shell Group Impact Award recognition for consistent availability and reliability of the subsea production system through deployment of the Exception Based Surveillance and other techniques to close gaps in production targets. Dominic is a practicing member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers , licensed to practice engineering by COREN and Professional Engineers Ontario, Canada.

Sam Otoboeze, Esq., CPP, FIMC, FOSHA (UK)

Sam Otoboeze
Is a security and legal professional with nearly 40 years of experience across government and industry. He served 20 years in Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS), followed by leadership roles at ExxonMobil and NNPC. At NNPC, he managed security for over 15,000 staff and critical national assets, developed the Corporation’s first Group Security Policy, and contributed to increasing crude production from under 1 million barrels per day in 2016 to 2.1 million by 2020. His expertise combines legal insight, strategic security operations, and strong government relations to deliver resilient, scalable security solutions.

Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun

A distinguished corporate executive, transformation leader, and John Maxwell Executive Coach with over three decades of success in both the private and public sectors. She served as the Secretary to the Oyo State Government between 2019-2023 and previously, spent over 20 years with Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), managing people-focused portfolios supporting energy projects. She has a degree in Pharmacy and an MBA from the University of Benin and is a member of various professional bodies including being a fellow of CIPM. She currently serves as Lead Consultant at O’BIA consulting.

Capt. Tajudeen Alao

Tajudeen Alao
Capt. Tajudeen Alao is a veteran maritime consultant with over four decades of experience in seafaring, ship command, regulatory oversight, and maritime education. He began his career in 1974 at Southampton School of Navigation, earned his Master Mariner Class 1 in 1983, and commanded ocean liners with the Nigerian National Shipping Line until he retired from sea service in 1995.

He later joined the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) in 2001, serving on key government committees and representing Nigeria at international maritime forums, including a decade-long role at the IMO’s Sub-Committee on Safety of Navigation. He also oversaw shipbuilding and FPSO conversions in global shipyards for deployment in Nigerian offshore operations, retiring in 2015 as Assistant Director of Safety.

Capt. Alao continues to contribute as a part-time lecturer, moderator, and assessor across several maritime institutions, and is a certified Marine Casualty Investigator. His academic credentials include a Master’s in Transport Planning (LASU) and a PGD in Marine Surveying (NDU), alongside extensive training both locally and abroad.

He is affiliated with numerous professional bodies – both national and international – and is an active member of Ikoyi Club 1938 and Apapa Club. Widely travelled and deeply committed to service, Capt. Alao remains a respected figure in Nigeria’s maritime sector.

Engr. Anthony Offor

Tony Offor
Tony is a seasoned expert in the oil and gas industry, bringing over three decades of strategic and technical leadership to complex energy operations. With 31 years at Shell—primarily in Nigeria and through international assignments in The Netherlands, South Korea, and Singapore—he has built a reputation for delivering innovative solutions, resolving high-stakes challenges, and shaping long-term strategies across the full lifecycle of major onshore and offshore projects.

His project management credentials were solidified through leadership roles on two mega offshore development projects. From 2005 to 2008, Tony served as Engineering and Maintenance Services Manager for Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), Shell’s offshore arm in Nigeria, driving operational excellence and technical integrity.

Tony’s expertise in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) is equally distinguished. He was part of the elite team that developed Shell’s global Asset Integrity and Process Safety Management systems. As Process Safety Manager for Shell’s Sub-Saharan Africa operations from 2011 to 2014, he led transformative safety and integrity improvement programs across the region.

A certified technical auditor and passionate mentor, Tony is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of engineers. He has completed several advanced technical and leadership programs, including the Shell Group Business Leadership Programme at IMD in Switzerland. He is a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and a registered engineer with COREN.

Currently, Tony serves as the Technical Director of South Atlantic Energy Limited, where he continues to champion innovation, safety, and talent development in Nigeria’s energy sector.

Mr. Imoh Ebukanson

Imoh Ebukanson is a former Superintendent at NNPC with over 35 years of experience in cost engineering, project management, and petroleum logistics. He has led operations across tank farms, jetties, and maritime infrastructure, and previously served at Noord Nederlandsche P&I Club. He holds a Master’s in Maritime Affairs from the World Maritime University and brings deep expertise in asset protection and infrastructure delivery.
